Warranty Policy

Certain products available through this store are protected against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty coverage can vary depending on the product, so customers should review the individual product page whenever possible before making a claim. Different categories may have different coverage periods and conditions, and the warranty provided for one type of merchandise should not automatically be assumed to apply to another.

Drinkware purchased through this store is covered for one year from the date of delivery against qualifying manufacturing defects. Accessories and soft goods are covered for 90 days from the delivery date against manufacturing defects. These periods apply to the standard products covered by the store’s current warranty terms. If a particular product page provides different warranty information, customers should review that information before assuming that the standard coverage applies.

The purpose of this warranty is to address problems that result from defects in the way a product was manufactured or from defects in the materials used to make it. The product must have been used in a manner consistent with the instructions, specifications, and intended use described on its product page. Warranty coverage is not intended to guarantee that a product will remain completely free from normal signs of use or that every component will remain unaffected under conditions outside the product’s recommended use.

Normal cosmetic changes, everyday wear, and damage resulting from improper handling are generally not considered manufacturing defects. A color becoming scratched or marked through ordinary use does not necessarily indicate a manufacturing problem. Similarly, damage caused by misuse, accidental impact, excessive force, or conditions that the product information specifically warns against is outside the standard warranty coverage.

Certain products may have special terms. Limited releases, special colors, personalized merchandise, or other non-standard products may be subject to different warranty conditions. Customers should not assume that a special product carries exactly the same coverage as a standard item. If the product page does not clearly explain the warranty for a particular item, customers should contact the store before taking action so the applicable coverage can be confirmed.

Damage caused by dropping or otherwise physically impacting a product is generally excluded when the issue results from an accident rather than a manufacturing defect. Damage caused by exposure to temperatures that the product instructions prohibit is also outside the warranty. This includes inappropriate use in a freezer, microwave, or other environment when the applicable product information advises against that use. Damage resulting from a dishwasher cycle that the product is not designed to withstand is similarly excluded.

The warranty does not normally cover lost components, missing parts caused after delivery, ordinary deterioration from regular use, or stains resulting from beverages or other substances. A product that has been repaired, modified, altered, or otherwise worked on by an unauthorized party may also fall outside warranty coverage when the problem is related to that repair or modification. Customers should avoid attempting repairs before contacting the store if they believe a manufacturing defect may be involved.

If you are unsure whether an issue qualifies for warranty coverage, contact owalalife@gmail.com before returning the product. Include your order number, a brief description of the problem, and photographs showing the affected area when possible. Providing clear information allows the store to determine whether the issue should be handled as a warranty claim, a standard return, or another type of customer service request.

Customers should not automatically ship an item back before receiving instructions from the store. Sending merchandise through the wrong process may create unnecessary shipping costs or delays. After reviewing the information provided, the store will explain which policy applies and what steps should be followed. When additional photographs or information are needed, customers should provide them before disposing of the product or arranging a return.

If the store determines that a product has a qualifying manufacturing defect, an appropriate resolution may include repair, replacement, or a refund of the amount paid for the affected product. The available remedy depends on the circumstances of the claim, product availability, and whether a practical repair can be completed. Where replacement is selected and the same product is available, the replacement will generally be for the same item. If the original product is no longer available, the store will explain what alternative resolution can be provided.

In some cases, the defective product may need to be returned and inspected before a replacement can be shipped or a final resolution can be completed. Customers should follow the packaging and return instructions provided by the store. When the defect is confirmed as a problem covered by this warranty, the store will cover the reasonable cost of returning the affected product in accordance with the applicable return process.

If an inspection determines that the reported issue is not covered by the warranty, return shipping will generally be handled according to the standard return policy. Customers may therefore be responsible for the cost of returning the merchandise when the issue results from misuse, accidental damage, normal wear, an excluded condition, or another circumstance outside the warranty.

The order confirmation is useful proof of purchase and should be retained for warranty purposes. Customers with an account may be able to locate an order through their account history, but guest purchases can be identified more efficiently when the customer provides the original order number and the email address used during checkout. If the store cannot match a warranty request to a purchase record, processing may be delayed until the transaction can be verified.

Warranty inspection may involve comparing the reported problem with the product’s published information and the description supplied by the customer. The store may request additional photographs showing specific areas of the product, such as a seam, lid, base, closure, surface, or other component. Customers should cooperate with reasonable inspection requests so the nature of the issue can be determined accurately.

Please keep the affected product until the store has completed its review. Do not throw away or permanently alter the merchandise before receiving instructions. Once the product has been discarded, damaged further, or otherwise made unavailable, the store may be unable to inspect it and determine whether the reported issue resulted from a manufacturing defect.

Nothing in this warranty policy is intended to remove or restrict a mandatory consumer guarantee or legal protection that applies under the laws of the customer’s location and cannot legally be waived. Where applicable law provides additional rights for consumer goods, those rights remain separate from and in addition to the voluntary warranty described here.

For questions about warranty eligibility, product defects, coverage periods, or the appropriate return process, contact owalalife@gmail.com. Providing the order number, checkout email address, product name, a clear description of the issue, and relevant photographs will help the store review the claim as efficiently as possible.
